Protect Patients and Improve Productivity with CEREBRO Sample Tracking via WindoPath and NucleoLIS Integration
Vista, CA – June 30, 2016 — Leica Biosystems, a global leader in automation and workflow solutions for anatomic pathology, announced today the integration of Leica Biosystems CEREBRO Sample Tracking System with Psyche Systems’s WindoPath and NucleoLIS products. The aim of this collaboration is to increase the efficiency and quality of laboratory pathology services by reducing the number of clicks and data entry steps for users in order to reduce the chance of errors and improved patient safety.
“CEREBRO enables laboratories to track each sample through every step of the process. Critically, it measures and monitors performance metrics,” stated Puneet Sarin, vice president and general manager, Leica Biosystems Pathology Imaging Business. “This integration of CEREBRO with Psyche‘s products will help laboratories achieve significant improvements in patient safety and laboratory productivity.”
“WindoPath and NucleoLIS are leading lab information systems for pathology and molecular workflow with, among other things, customized results reports, and the capability to place orders online,“ commented Lisa-Jean Clifford, chief executive officer of Psyche Systems. “We are pleased to collaborate with Leica Biosystems to provide better customer experiences and outcomes through the integration of our products.“
