Bob started System Analysis Corporation in 1976 as a software contracting company. In 1989, Bob changed the company name to Psyche Systems as the company redirected its business activities. The company slowly evolved from a software contracting company to a company that delivers laboratory information software systems.
It was also during this time that Bob changed how the day-to-day operations of the company would be managed. It has been over 25 years that Psyche Systems has used a group management system vs a standard corporate hierarchy. All key strategic decisions in the company are decided in groups and this structure allows employees to grow outside of their group and learn new skills and gain experience that they wouldn’t normally have exposure to in a standard corporate hierarchy.
Prior to starting his own business Bob worked for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) as a programmer. Bob graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn.
Bob enjoys golf, piano, Tai Chi, Spanish and especially hanging out with his wife, Lucrecia and his two daughters Linnea and Kippy.
