Bob Sage – Founder and Board of Directors
Bob started System Analysis Corporation in 1976 as a software contracting company. In 1989, Bob changed the company name to Psyche Systems as the company redirected its business activities. The company slowly evolved from a software contracting company to a company that delivers laboratory information software systems.
It was also during this time that Bob changed how the day-to-day operations of the company would be managed. It has been over 25 years that Psyche Systems has used a group management system vs a standard corporate hierarchy. All key strategic decisions in the company are decided in groups and this structure allows employees to grow outside of their group and learn new skills and gain experience that they wouldn’t normally have exposure to in a standard corporate hierarchy.
Prior to starting his own business Bob worked for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) as a programmer. Bob graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn.
Bob enjoys golf, piano, Tai Chi, Spanish and especially hanging out with his wife, Lucrecia and his two daughters Linnea and Kippy.
John Basile – Chief Operating Officer
John started at Psyche Systems in 2001 as a software developer and interface programmer. Today, John is the COO and lead architect for Psyche Systems’ newest product, NucleoLIS as well as Micropath and the e.lixa software product suite. Prior to accepting the position of COO John was the Director of Technical Operations Group, which encompasses 84% of our staff. He has a wealth of knowledge around healthcare information technology and his leadership and managerial skills have helped earn Psyche Systems accolades in various publications.
John is a strong advocate of the group management system and has continued to partner with Bob on developing the Psyche Systems’ employees to grow and thrive in this high performing environment.
John graduated from Fitchburg State with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Management. Afterwards he attended Clark University where he studied Software Engineering.
When John doesn’t have his head buried in code he enjoys spending time with his wife Jessica, his son and his two daughters.

It is Claudia’s goal to make sure that every Psyche Systems client is satisfied with the products and services offered.
Prior to joining Psyche Systems, Claudia had the pleasure of working at Equipment Management, Inc., which was a family owned business. As Vice President of Operations, Claudia was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring product delivery, client satisfaction, and overall operational success. It is the 16 years of experience running a family business that she has brought with her to Psyche that defines the Client Relations Group and their desire and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that our clients feel like a family.
